The Yacht Haven Marina is located at Laem Phrao at the northern end of Phuket in the channel between Phuket and the mainland.

At the western end of the channel the main north/south  road crosses over the Sarasin bridge which has approximately 5 meters of clearance at high tide.

Fishing vessels and large power craft regularly pass this way, but this route is unsuitable for yachts with fixed masts. Additionally, as the sand bar moves contantly, it is recommended that this route not  be used without local knowledge.

Located to the east of the bridge at the head of the channel is the Yacht Haven Marina. Completed in 1997 the marina boasts 150 berths for vessels up to 50m in length and is one of only 2 marinas currently in operation in Phuket.


The Yacht Haven can be accessed from the west on all tides though deep drafted vessels need to take care and keep to the channel during low tides. Please refer to approaches.
